These last few months of this election cycle have been exhausting! I’m pretty sure y’all can agree. My 9 year old nephew said two months ago that he wanted Trump to win just because he was sick of seeing Kamala’s face in the majority of ads. I’ve had coworkers say they’re over hearing about abortion every 30 seconds. I agree. There’s more to life than one issue.
That being said, I believe that the federal government has leaped over the boundary line originally set in the constitution. Okay, more like catapulted over the line. Why is a presidential candidate talking about a medical procedure? In all honesty, I believe that all medical procedures, abortion included, should be between the patient and their doctor. The federal government should have no say in what happens. I believe that with all medical decisions.
Also, they should keep their noses out of my bank accounts. How I spend the money I earn is no one’s business! We’re not in that kind of relationship. I said what I said.
Truthfully, the federal government has gained too much control over individual’s lives. We all know this. It’s just that too many people have grown amazingly comfortable with that fact. They want a parental government. One that tells you what your boundaries are instead of the other way around. I’m an adult. I make my own money, so why can’t I make my own decisions? If I want to collect rain water, drink raw milk, or smoke weed, why should they care?
I would love to say “WE RIDE AT DAWN!“, but cat videos and Candy Crush are calling. I wish that we really realize the power that we do have to make a change. Maybe not the money, but hey, we’re a crafty bunch!
